Game Night with UMSL

“Study abroad can expand your world and teach you so many new things about yourself and the communities around you. Being a global citizen is vital for a successful future, and study abroad provides you with those opportunities”, says Amanda Lopez, Exchange Coordinator for Study Abroad at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Originally an international student from Venezuela, after studying in the U.S., she realized how amazing any kind of study abroad experience can be. The best part of her work is getting to help students achieve their dreams and travel to their dream destinations.

The UMSL Study Abroad Office celebrates Study Abroad Day every year, and this year, they hosted a game night for exchange, international, and domestic students – with pizza and study abroad themed door prizes! She remarked that even though students are currently working hard to get their paperwork done in order to go abroad, they still find time to join and support the events they host around campus, like this one for Study Abroad Day.

Happy Study Abroad Day, UMSL!
