Host a Study Abroad Panel
Have your study abroad alumni or your study abroad ambassadors host a panel to talk about their experiences and answer questions! The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire invited faculty to be on the panel to share their own study abroad experiences.

Celebrate All Week
North Central College’s Study Abroad Day celebration spans an entire week! Students participated in a daily campus-wide flag hunt. There’s also a faculty & staff contest/campaign component: professors and employees wore “Please, Go Away” T-shirts and posted “Go Global” office signs to raise awareness about international opportunities among students. The University of Missouri – St. Louis hosted a board game night for international, exchange, and domestic students, offering study abroad-themed door prizes. Mille Bourne, Ticket to Ride, Azul, and 7 Wonders are just a few options that immerse gamers in diverse cultures throughout play. Read more.

Run a Study Abroad Photo Contest
Leverage social media to amplify your celebrations! Drexel students submitted photos from their study abroad experiences. The campus community and students voted via social media and were encouraged to share their own study abroad memories using #StudyAbroadDay. Read More.

Compete in Global Trivia
Partner with another office on campus, such as your Multicultural Student Services office, to host a Trivia Night featuring questions about your study abroad locations.
